Václav is an experienced transaction strategist and entrepreneur with more than twenty years in M&A, corporate law and strategic finance. As a partner at the largest law firm in the Czech Republic, HAVEL & PARTNERS, he helped build its mergers and acquisitions team and worked on hundreds of complex transactions for Czech and international clients, from corporations and family businesses to global investors.
In recent years he has focused not only on advisory work but also on an active role in business. Together with Martin Havrda he founded the investment group Arbol Capital, which today manages a broad portfolio of private equity, property and technology investments. As a co-founder and investor he stands behind the growth of the Czech industrial start-up First Green Industries, a maker of 100% electric loaders with global potential. As a result, he combines deep legal and transaction know-how with entrepreneurial experience and an understanding of what running a business day to day really takes.
He delivers M&A services within NEXUS through Arbol Advisory, a boutique specialising in transaction advisory that has built a strong reputation in the Czech and Slovak markets under his leadership.
